We encourage and prefer customer pickups and offer FOB Dock terms for such. Freight for any order placed with FOB Dock terms should be arranged directly by the buyer, and buyer assumes all transportation risks.
PPS can handle the freight entirely, including rates, scheduling, charges and claims. With this elected program, the following applies:
- Terms to the customer are FOB Destination for shipments and PPS assumes transportation risks.
- Product is Invoiced as due and payable at the time of shipment on open accounts in good standing. Customers with prepayment terms must pay in advance of shipment release.
- PPS invoices include the freight amount plus a service fee of 50% of the shipment cost or $500, whichever is less.
We suggest the following carrier(s) for freight transportation. Contact them directly to arrange shipments and billing.
Except with our PPS Inclusive Freight Program, product is considered delivered once we notify our customer that an order is packaged and ready to ship ("on the dock," so to speak). Order invoices are due and payable at that time regardless of pickup timing, delays or shipment damage.
Ready shipments should be picked-up within 7 days. After this period, storage fees may apply unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.
